Knowing Our Future

Zimbabwe goes to election this Saturday and the big question is, So
What? What happens if any of the Candidates wins? Where do we go from there?
Autonomous Ideas a programme initiated by the
Zimbabwe Political Analysts’ Network (ZiPAN) is facilitating a closed discussion
on the future of our country. These ideas will be tabled on the 29th of March 2008 and will be discussed
by the selected delegates together with monitoring elections in Zimbabwe.
If you have an autonomous idea, one that has not been heard before. An
idea that if affiliated to you and no one else about the future of Zimbabwe,
Zimbabweans or Africa, Africans, in and outside Africa please mail it to me
before 12 noon on 27th of March and then start preparing your
presentation. Each accepted idea will be given an hour to be presented and
discussed. The discussion will be all day while we monitor the electoral process
in Zimbabwe. After all the tabled ideas are discussed we will then open up the debate for ideas and
points of view.
Please send your proposal to us in not more than 700 words. If you happen
to use more than 700 words please justify why you did that.
Please circulate this message widely,
